About the event
For the past three years, I've had the privilege of teaching a yoga class at Jeff Fest, an annual Music Festival in honor of the JSB Music Room and the incredible legacy of Jeff Sosa Bailey. Jeff was a beloved figure in the Houston Arts Scene, passionately advocating for artists and musicians. If you are free this Saturday and would like to join RSVP HERE. It's free to attend! Keep on reading to peep the line-up!
Yoga as an Art Form
Yoga has been my chosen artistic expression for 20 years, and I've cherished the company of some incredible creative minds, which is why I situated my studio in the Houston Arts District. This year, I'm thrilled to bring you a unique opportunity—an immersive experience combining my love for yoga with my passion for classical music, specifically strings. Dreams do come true... This yoga class will be 45 minutes long beginner friendly, and feature use of Yoga Triangles.  We will focus on movements that draw from creative expression, adaptation, and experimentation, inspired by artists and creatives! Use code Jefffest2023 for 30% off at The Yoga Triangle.
Meet Divisi Strings - A Houston Heights GemÂ
Allow me to introduce Divisi Strings, a talented String Quartet hailing from Houston Heights. They started as four friends at the University of Houston in 2006 and have since grown to encompass over 60 top-tier musicians. These artists are graduates of prestigious schools like Juilliard, Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Peabody Conservatory. You may recognize them from performances with Houston Grand Opera, TUTS, Opera in the Heights, Houston Symphony, Mercury Chamber Orchestra, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, and Shepherd School Symphony.
Join Us at Jeff Fest
If you can make it to Jeff Fest, we'd love to have you. Yoga is optional, but we encourage you to come mingle with Houston's talented artists and musicians, explore our local vendor market, and savor delicious treats from the BoomBox Tacos at Dan Electro's Bar.
